Perched on a hill in the centre of Parlatuvier, Tamarind House provides breathtaking, uninterrupted views of both the oldest protected rainforest in the Western hemisphere and one of the most attractive bays along Tobago’s Caribbean coastline.

Completed in April 2007 Tamarind House is a thoughtfully designed and constructed log home. The deep brown “Tamarind” coloured outer walls and green roof help the house blend in with the stunning rainforest backdrop.

From the verandas, pool, terrace and garden, guests can relax and watch the day go by - fishing boats leaving early and arriving with the catch mid afternoon, the daily migration of orange winged parrots, cocricos, egrets and corn birds to and from their favourite roosts, and much more besides.  With the beach an easy stroll of 4 or 5 minutes away there is ample opportunity to swim and snorkel amongst coral reefs fringing the rocks on either side of the bay.
